Where does the Time Go??

The month of April is almost over! Can't believe it! I don't feel as if I am getting enough done! Yesterday I mowed the lawn, raked the grass up because we don't have a bag catcher, did some weeding, and made supper. That's all I accomplished all day! We had church last night so my spirit was renewed though. I need that mid-week renewal to help me keep focused on the bigger goals. I know this life is NOT what it is all about, yet this life will determine my everlasting future.

My friend, Jan, came and spend the night with me on Friday and we went to the Rosemont Quilt Show. It was a great show and I had a great time. We met up with another friend from WI, Fonda and spent the day oooohing and aahhhhing over beautiful quilts. We ate a very, very expensive lunch and visited the vendors. Half the fun of the quilt show is visiting the vendors. We all found some treasures that we felt we just HAD to have. It was a wonderful day. When we got home, my hubby and my daughter had supper ready so after we ate, Jan headed home to Oregon, Illinois. Fonda had taken a bus in to the show so she had to stay there to hook up with her bus home.

Bad news is that this was the last year of the Quilt show in Rosemont...they have moved the show to Cincinnati for the future!
