Election Day is Over!!
I'm ready to get back to normal life without all the campaign commercials, and hoopla. Although I am so thankful for the opportunity to have a part in our election process. I voted. I hope everyone did.
Recently I had the honor of quilting a quilt for the Shults-Lewis Children and Family Services Annual Fund raising day. I didn't make the quilt, but it was given to me by the maker, (a hand piecer from church) and I quilted it and donated it to Shults-Lewis. It was auctioned off for a grand total of 700.00! All for a good cause. The quilting was just a meander. It was made from scraps and turned out very nicely. For the children's home it auctioned for a total of $700.00.
