We had a 'move' to Mt Carroll, IL and then back to West Chicago when hubby took a job closer to our home here. Reason, a couple. One is that youngest daughter is married and expecting a baby boy. She and her hubby are living in the apartment side of the house where Aunt Geri used to live. Aunt Geri bought a condo in Westmont so the apartment was empty, waiting for us to put the house on the market. Our newest grandson is expected on Jan. 14, 2019! We are over the moon with joy and can't wait to meet him. I'm making a baby quilt for him from the Woodlands Creatures pattern by Quiet Play. I have to RE-make one block because the fabric choice I made for the body of the otter does not work. After that, I need to finish one more block of the animals and then start to work on the additional blocks to go with them.
Today is a very pretty day, with temps in the 80's so I am rushing outside to do some weeding and packing furniture away. We still have unpacked boxes taking up room in the garage also, so they need to be gone through. De-cluttering and a garage sale are planned. It's easy to feel overwhelmed when there is too much 'stuff'.
Going later to pick up a couch for daughter #3 and her hubby. We found one from Craigs' list for a good price, and it LOOKs like in good condition.
